An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the collision triggered a rescue operation, with local residents rushing to the spot and helping evacuate the injured passengers from the bus. “The injured were shifted to District Hospital Samba for treatment, while their identities are being ascertained,” the official said.
